Florencia Araujo (Violin)

She is an Argentinian violinist, born in the city of Córdoba and living in Germany. At the age of 3 she began her first violin lessons at the Shinichi Suzuki Music School and in 1991 she entered the Instituto Artístico Musical Domingo Zípoli where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Choir Preparatory.

In 2018 he obtained his Bachelor of Music degree at the Conservatory of Frankfurt am Main in the class of violinist Yvonne Smeulers and Dr. Fabian Rieser. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in “Historical Performance Practice” in the class of Petra Müllejans and Mayumi Hirasaki at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Since the age of 11 she has participated as a violinist tutti and concertmaster in different chamber music ensembles and orchestras in South America and Europe, among which stand out: Capitol Symphonie Orchester, Orchester Camerata Frankfurt, Neue Philarmonie Frankfurt, Junge Philarmonie Frankfurt, JSO Berlin Orchester, Beethoven Orchester, Youth Orchestra and y Children´s Chamber Orchestra of the “Teatro del Libertador San Martin”, and Symphony Orchestra from the UNC. Also on important stages such as Alte Oper Frankfurt, Auditorium of the Frankfurt Radio, Hessische Staatsteather Wiesbaden, Mantova Chamber Festival, Teatro Colón, among others.

With active participation in the most important music festivals in the world she has taken classes with teachers such as: Igor Ozim, Schmuel Ashkenazy, Myriam Fried, Simon Bernardini, Andres Cardenes, Charles Stegman, Clara Takabare, Ingrid Zur, Jorg Heyer, Jorge Rissi.

Since 2017 she has been teaching at the music school “Musikschule Seligendstadt-Hainburg Mainhausen e.V.” and at the music school “Musikschule der Kreistadt Dietzenbach”.

In 2017 she was a scholarship holder of the Wagner Foundation in Frankfurt am Main.

 In 2020 she was a Scholarship holder of the “Hessische Kutur Stiftung” and in the DAAD program (German academic Exchange Service).
