Sandra Borges (Violin)

She began her studies at the elementary School of Music Manuel Saumell and at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory, with Professor Maria Verdecia. He then continued his studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón with Professors Rolando Prusak, Oksana Solovieva and Pablo Suárez. He obtained his post-graduate degree in early music (baroque violin) at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, under the tutelage of Professor Emilio Moreno and a Master in Concert Performance at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne, with Professor Virginie RobIlliard. During his career he has received advice from professors such as Nicolas Chumachenco, Stephan Picard, Kazuki Sawa, Eva-Christina Schönweiss, Massimo Quarta, Sergio Lamberto, among others.

At the age of eleven she toured different parts of Argentina with her father, the pianist Luis Borges Lugo, performing at the V International Music Festival of Buenos Aires, held in the Golden Hall of the Teatro Colón, the International Festival “September Musical” in Tucumán, the Latin American music Festival held at the Teatro Lago in Frutillar, Chile, among others. She has collaborated with different orchestras, such as the Orchestra Santa Cecilia (Madrid), the Nexus Orchestra (Lausanne), the Chamber Orchestra of Geneva, Orchestra of the Academy Île de Ré,(France), Gstaad Festival orchestra,(Switzerland), Penderecki Orchestra Academy (Poland-Germany) etc. with which she participated in important festivals in Europe, such as: Trame Sonore (Italy), Schleswig Holstein (Germany), Île de Ré music Festival (France), Gstaad music festival, etc.

She is currently is a member of Lam ensemble (FR/CH), Camerata Ataremac (CH) and Elocuencia Trio (FR).
