Fabian Rieser, born in Germany, studied violin performance and doctoral studies in music education at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Already prior to finishing his studies with distinction, he was asked to play as a freelancer with the orchestra of the Vienna State Opera as well as the Vienna Philharmonic. He records for the German label CPO.
He is the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships.
Also a dedicated teacher, his students have won many national and international awards. Besides that, he is also in training as a licensed psychotherapist (HP Psych).
Currently he lives in Frankfurt/Germany, teaching violin, didactics and pedagogy at Dr. Hoch’s Konservatorium.
